How are you coming up with these numbers? This calculator is based on the grading formulas published by Collegeboard.
Why does my practice test have different totals? AP tests change from year to year, and Collegeboard sometimes chooses to omit certain questions. This calculator is based on the 2007 released exam, which is the most current one I can find. Do you have a newer official grading formula? Let me know.
What's the grading scale? Once the raw score is calculated, Collegeboard curves them to keep consistent standards and regular pass rates. The scale used for this calculator is:
- 0-54
- 55-79
- 80-97
- 98-111
- 112-150
