Changes to AP Scoring! The Collegeboard has changed how AP tests will be scored this year, and I do not have the formulas to calculate your scores this way yet! I will fix it as soon as I can get the exact formulas! The current formulas are still useful for older practice tests since the new grading changes will also change Collegeboard's grading curve.

Information

Each multiple choice question that is answered incorrectly is worth a negative one fourth of a point. This means that guessing may actually hurt your score.

Your composite score used on this grading scale to find your approximate AP grade:

  1. 0-33
  2. 33-44
  3. 45-57
  4. 58-72
  5. 73-90
