Information

How are you coming up with these numbers? This calculator is based on the grading formulas published by Collegeboard.

Why does my practice test have different totals? AP tests change from year to year, and Collegeboard sometimes chooses to omit certain questions. I use the latest grading formulas I can because that's the most accurate estimate of your score I have.

What's the grading scale? Once the raw score is calculated, Collegeboard curves them to keep consistent standards and regular pass rates. The scale used for this calculator is:

  1. 0-47
  2. 48-65
  3. 66-81
  4. 82-92
  5. 93-120
